A daily commitment to make sure all leaders and staff are aware of safety operations, risks, and barriers. Our experience with best practice is that leaders come together in the beginning of the shift. All leaders and managers review what operations are going to look like for the day. Leaders discuss both risks and barriers. Then they share or cascade that information with staff in the units and departments.
